Narrabeen Youth Club (NYC) Netball has been registering teams in the MWNA competitions for more than 50 years, growing from just a few teams to being a club with close to 40 teams.
The club is administered by a wonderful committee of volunteers who are passionate about netball and passing on their legacy and expertise to all junior and senior players. NYC Netball is known for good grading procedures and has well organised and supported team officials. We want families to be involved in coaching, managing, primary care roles and helping out wherever they can. The teams train on Boondah grass courts in Narrabeen and also on the new hard courts on Boondah Road. Some teams also train at Curl Curl where the Saturday competition is played.
NYC Netball has a strong history of successful competition results but this is not the most important thing for us, we just want kids and adults to have fun, learn skills, stay fit and enjoy playing netball. Join NYCNetball for a fun filled year of netball.
NYC Netball and NYC Football are supported by NYC Management Committee. This committee is made up of representatives from both sections and supports the clubs in administration. We are based at Boondah with Ted Blackwood Hall our clubhouse.
