Net Set Go U8 & U9

Net Set Go U7, U8 & U9 - Saturday Competition

If your child is turning 7 years of age in 2023, they are eligible to register for the 'Net Set Go' Saturday winter netball competition which takes place at John Fisher Netball Courts in Curl Curl. ​
​A modified competition called 'Net Set Go' (NSG) exists for U7, U8 & U9 players. 
Register to Play
Children can play with friends or we can place individual players in a team. If your child would like to play with friends, please email nycnetballregistrar@gmail.com with your child's name and her friends names so we can be sure to place them together. Generally teams have 9 players.

The cost is $205, and you may use your Active Kids Voucher as a part of this payment. Please visit Service NSW to apply for your voucher online prior to registering with us. You can find more information about the Active Kids Voucher here.

Net Set Go is a modified competition for girls aged 7, 8 & 9 years. Modified rules apply, and include:
  • Game Duration - 4 x 10 minutes quarters
  • Goal Posts - 2.4m (8ft) tall
  • Ball - Size 4
  • Time to Pass the Ball - 5 seconds
  • Stepping - shuffling on the spot to regain balance allowed without moving down the court
  • Defence - one on one 
  • Obstruction - 4 feet (1.2m)
  • Positions - every player must play each position throughout the season

Information Day - Uniforms

NYC Netball hold an Information & Uniform Day where new players are able to try on and purchase uniforms, find out more information about the club and what it means to play netball. Our 2022 Information Day will take place on Saturday 28 January at Ted Blackwood Hall, corner of Boondah Rd and Jacksons Rd, Warriewood (map) from 1pm - 3pm. 

If your Daughter is new to the club it is advisable that you take this opportunity to get fitted for a uniform.
